Lake House on Lake George
Lake House is situated directly on the lake on the west shore of Lake George. It lies 6 miles north of Lake George Village on 1 acre of land. Views from the house and yard are of Boon Bay, one of the lake's smaller bays, tiny Rush Island, and across the lake to Pilot Knob and Buck mountains.
Constructed in stages as the family's needs grew, Lake House contains many levels of living area and provides an unusual degree of privacy for its residents. Rooms are large, their walls paneled with knotty pine, and their floors made of oak, except for one room whose floors are pine. Ceilings are high and decorations sparse, lending an atmosphere of space and relaxation. Every room except one looks out over the lake. Every room except a bedroom on the lower floor contains a working ceiling fan. The house is fully air conditioned.

Presidents' weekend, Columbus Day weekend - $1,080 for up to 10 people
Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend - $1,500 for up to 10 people
New Year's Eve - $1,500 for 3 nights for up to 10 people
There will be an extra charge of $160 a week or $40 a night for each additional person (with a maximum of two). The dog fee is a one-time charge of $40 for a weekend or $75 for a week.
Payment Policies - A deposit of one half the rental rate is required when a reservation is made, with the balance and the security deposit due 60 days before arrival. The reservation deposit is nonrefundable unless the period you rented is taken by another party, in which case a 10-percent fee is retained. The amount of security deposit required varies from $100 to $500 depending on the length of the rental and the number of people in the party. This sum will be refunded in full provided no damage has been done, instructions are followed for preparing the house for check-out, recyclables are sorted as requested, and the house is vacated by check-out time.
